Babies really are amazing little things. She is only five pounds but is already showing fight/resiliency/determination. She also likes to play with her hands - to the point that the nurses had to pin them down so she could get some sleep.
I enjoy sitting with her and looking at her feet. While it can be a little sad to see your baby hooked up to so many tubes, the unbelievable cuteness of a newborn's foot makes everything in the world seem right.
It's wonderful to know that Siena has had some nourishment already. And what a sweet little foot! We're wishing we could hold her--feet and all.

I know that many around the world are anxious to hear the updates, so thank you for taking the time to keep us in the loop. Will take good care of the big sister this week and our prayers are with the wee one that she is restored to perfect health. Susan
